Lauren Grech was born on January 21, 1990, in New Jersey, United States. She was raised in a household that valued traditional career paths, which initially led her to pursue a career in forensic science. Grech earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Binghamton University and later obtained a Master of Science in Forensic Toxicology from Pace University.
During her time as a forensic toxicologist, Grech worked at the New York City Medical Examiner’s Office, analyzing toxicology reports and assisting in forensic investigations. However, she found the nature of the work emotionally taxing and began exploring other career opportunities. While planning her own wedding, she discovered her passion for event planning and decided to transition into the luxury wedding industry.

In 2015, Grech founded LLG Events, initially offering day-of coordination services for weddings. Her company quickly gained recognition, and within two years, she expanded internationally, planning high-profile destination weddings in locations such as France, Italy, Bora Bora, Dubai, Costa Rica, and the Dominican Republic.
LLG Events specializes in curating seven-figure luxury weddings for high-net-worth clients, managing every aspect of the planning process. The company has partnered with renowned venues such as The Plaza Hotel (New York), Four Seasons, St. Regis, and Cipriani Wall Street, among others.

By 2018, Grech had solidified her reputation as a leading event designer, and she pioneered the first Event Design and Production curriculum at New York University’s Tisch Center of Hospitality.
